Helheim is located on the lowest level of Yggdrasil. It is surrounded by an impassable river Hell. No creature, not even the gods, can return from Helheim. The entrance to Helheim is guarded by Garm, a monstrous dog, and a giantess Modgud.
On the day of Ragnarok from Helheim on the ship Naglfar, the host of Hel will sail out to fight the Aces.
